Colorado Eagles rolls over Dallas Snipers, 5-1

Colorado Eagles had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Dallas Snipers. 

Levi Weber had two goals to lead Colorado Eagles to victory. Weber found the back of the net 9:40 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Colorado Eagles and again while 10:40 into the second to make the score 4-1 Colorado Eagles. 

Colorado Eagles' Tage Rustgi was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Rustgi managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.81 prior to the game. 

Colorado Eagles' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Colorado Eagles finished with 30 penalty minutes. 

Colorado Eagles also had goals scored by Tanner Ulland, Jonthan Cowley, and Nick Davidson, who each put in one. In addition, Colorado Eagles received assists from Lance Pennington and Corey Richardson, who contributed one a piece and Kyle Arenson and Jackson Wallis, who each chipped in two. 

Dallas Snipers could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Dallas Snipers averages 3.8 goals per game. 

Dallas Snipers was led by Konstantin Ljubobratets, who scored the team's only goal. Ljubobratets scored on the power play 8:40 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Dallas Snipers had gained a power play chance when Nick Bucholtz was whistled for holding. Zach Lawson picked up the assist. 

Colorado Eagles registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Nick Ross made 17 saves for Dallas Snipers on 22 shots. Dallas Snipers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
