Dallas Snipers survives Dallas Ice Jets comeback, wins 4-3

Dallas Ice Jets tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Dallas Snipers held on for a 4-3 victory. 

Dallas Snipers made the score 4-1 on a goal by Alexander Yunonov at 12:49 in the second period, and Dallas Ice Jets got as close as 4-3 when Chris Schutz scored 7:25 into the third period.

In a losing effort, Dallas Ice Jets was led by Schutz, who racked up two goals. Schutz scored the first of his two goals at 3:44 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Dallas Snipers. Nick Felan provided the assist. Schutz's next tally made the score Dallas Snipers with 12:35 left in the third period. Ondrej Valo assisted on the tally. 

Dallas Snipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Dallas Ice Jets power plays. 

Dallas Snipers was helped by Christopher Stein, who grabbed one goal. Stein scored eight seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dallas Snipers. Jesse Buchholz provided the assist. Dallas Snipers additionally got points from Konstantin Ljubobratets, who also had one goal and one assist and Yunonov, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Dallas Snipers also got a goal from Emil Melin as well. In addition, Dallas Snipers received assists from Zach Lawson, who had one. 

Dallas Snipers was unable to stop Dallas Ice Jets from sending pucks towards the net, and Dallas Ice Jets eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. 

Byron Carlisle also scored for Dallas Ice Jets. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas Ice Jets were Matthew Heim, Luke Simon, and Devin Chmura, who each chipped in one. 

Emil Eriksson recorded 30 saves for Dallas Snipers. Dallas Snipers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dallas Ice Jets took out Vladyslav Slyusarchuk after he had made six saves and installed Jordan Salas in goal, where he finished with nine saves and the loss. Dallas Ice Jets incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
