El Paso Rhinos penalty kill dominates in 6-2 defeat of Dallas Snipers

Despite having to fight off several power plays, El Paso Rhinos was able to defeat Dallas Snipers, 6-2. 

El Paso Rhinos was sparked by Sebastian Borg, who racked up one goal. Borg scored on the power play 39 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-2 El Paso Rhinos. Renis Vitolins picked up the assist. 

El Paso Rhinos stifled Dallas Snipers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. El Paso Rhinos' offense rang up 42 shots on Dallas Snipers' net. 

El Paso Rhinos also got points from Vitolins, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Tim Odermatt, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Lukas Znosko, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jiri Pestuka, who also finished with one goal and one assist. El Paso Rhinos also got a goal from Adam Zimmerman as well. In addition, El Paso Rhinos received assists from Angel Sanca, who had one and Gavin Abbott, who had two. 

Dallas Snipers was helped by Erik Svensson, who had one goal. Svensson scored 2:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Carl Sandsten assisted on the tally. Alexander Yunanov also scored for Dallas Snipers. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas Snipers were Peter Kutlak, who had one. 

El Paso Rhinos' Adam Vay stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. El Paso Rhinos incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Drew Stuve made 36 saves for Dallas Snipers on 42 shots. Dallas Snipers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
