El Paso Rhinos rips Dallas Snipers, 6-1

El Paso Rhinos had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Dallas Snipers. 

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Dallas Snipers faces elimination next time out. 

El Paso Rhinos was paced by Sebastian Borg, who had one goal and one assist. Borg scored 19:41 into the first period to make the score 2-0 El Paso Rhinos. Jiri Pestuka assisted on the tally. 

El Paso Rhinos put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Dallas Snipers to score on any of its three power plays. 

El Paso Rhinos additionally got points from Pestuka, who also racked up one goal and one assist. El Paso Rhinos also had goals scored by Kendal Craig, who had two and Jonah Pearson and Martin Hanl, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for El Paso Rhinos were Lukas Znosko, who had two and Robert Horak, David Brancik, and Jeramy Rezaeepour, who contributed one each. 

Dallas Snipers found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 10 shots against El Paso Rhinos' defense. 

Dallas Snipers was led by Alexander Kotzman, who scored the team's only goal. Kotzman scored 17:14 into the second period to make the score 2-1 El Paso Rhinos. Jean Cobo picked up the assist. 

Adam Vay made nine saves for El Paso Rhinos on 10 shots. El Paso Rhinos incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sander Berg rejected 23 shots on goal for Dallas Snipers. Dallas Snipers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
