12.04.15 – Dallas 5, El Paso 2

12.05.15 – El Paso 4, Dallas 1

12.06.15 – El Paso 6, Dallas 3

The El Paso Rhinos showed signs of turning things around, winning twice after dropping Friday’s series opener to the Dallas Snipers.  The Rhinos remain eight points behind the Snipers in the Mid-West Division standings.

Alexander Yunanov had two goals and an assist and Alexander Moustakis made 33 saves as Dallas notched a 5-2 win Friday.

Dallas struck first on Saturday as well, but the Rhinos responded in front of their fans, grinding their way back with goals in every period of a 4-1 win.  Petr Ceslik found the net twice while Santeri Ketola and Jonah Pearson each set up two goals.

Ryan Buttazzoni made 23 saves for the Rhinos.

Sunday’s game was close late into the second period, but Ceslik scored with 14 seconds left to give El Paso a 4-3 lead, then gave them a little breathing room with another goal midway through the third.

Connor Beaudet figured in five of the Rhinos goals, finishing a hat trick with 1:52 left in the game and also adding a pair of helpers.

Buttazzoni made 21 saves and has started 14 of 18 games for El Paso.
